English Majolica Grapes Plate

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.9ins high, 8.9ins wide, 1ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica plate which features grapes and vines,

surrounding a central flower with swirling leaves. Lilac ground version.

Colouration: lilac, green, dark pink, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '15'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some small flakes to the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses to the front;

a two small specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the front.
