
Victorian, circa 1875. 9.3ins high, 9.3ins wide, 1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features lilies with a dragonfly above. Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Three small tight hairlines to pierced rim.
KILN EFFECTS: a speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front;
touch mark to the reverse.
