
Victorian, circa 1871. 7.9ins high, 6.1ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Minton Majolica basket which features wood panelled troughs and an ivy handle.
Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1667'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1871.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to interior of one basket;
a couple of small glaze misses;
glaze run to ochre glaze.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to two of the branch feet.
