Colouration: yellow, green, white, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '777'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1866.
CONDITION: Cover: Good. Slight wear to pigeon's tail and face.
RESTORATION. Pigeon's tail reglued and join retouched.
Sections of rim reglued and joins retouched.
Filled chip to tail and inner rim.
Dish: Good. Slight wear to interior.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior and exterior.
RESTORATION. Five stabilised and retouched cracks/hairlines to rim.
Filled chip to acorn leaf.
Retouched flakes to feathers.
