Victorian, circa 1870. 3.3ins high, 9.8ins wide, 3ins depth. George Jones Majolica dog bowl which features leafy branches and rope twist border.

Cobalt blue ground version.

Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;

shrinkage crack to one foot

and to the underside;

flecks of stray coloured glaze to the dish.
