
Victorian, circa 1862. 5.9ins high, 10ins wide, 9.4ins depth. Minton Majolica chestnut server which features chestnuts and chestnut leaves.
Colouration: turquoise, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '594'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1862.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Very slight wear to the handle.
KILN EFFECT: over glazed shrinkage line to one twig.
