
Victorian, circa 1874. Tallest is 7.5ins high, 7.5ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Set of three Wedgwood Majolica jug/pitchers which feature primroses. Lilac ground version.
Colouration: green, ochre, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.
CONDITION: Pitcher 1: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: over glazed chip to rim;
a lot of stained crazing.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to base.
Pitcher 2: Very good. No restoration. A couple of tiny flakes to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application in places.
Pitcher 3: Good: a few small flakes to the exterior.
Kiln effects: thin glaze application in places.
RESTORATION: filled and retouched chip to spout.
