
Victorian, circa 1880. 20.9ins high, 12.2ins wide, 12.2ins depth. Forester Majolica garden seat which features storks
stood on rocky ground with bamboo decoration.
Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: turquoise, white, green, are predominant.

CONDITION: Good.
Tight hairline to base edge.
Small flake to one of the storks.
Slight wear to the exterior and top.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the interior (not visible from the exterior);
thin glaze application to the ground in places;
a few flecks of stray cobalt glaze.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to top of handle.
