Worcester Majolica Boy in Boat Figural Dish

Victorian, circa 1880. 5.5ins high, 11.6ins wide, 4.5ins depth. Royal Worcester Majolica serving dish which features a putto seated on a gondola boat.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Royal Worcester pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Some small flakes to rim of boat,

rudder and boy's toes.

RESTORATION. Boy's head,

 

rudder handle

and rudder reglued and join retouched.

Filled chip to tip of eagle's beak.
