
Victorian, circa 1900. 7.1ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica vase which features a cockerel/rooster stood in foreground.
White version. Colouration: cream, green, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Small flake to the tail feathers, beak and comb.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the cockerel's chest;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the cockerel;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the reverse of the tail feathers.
