Delphin Massier Majolica Birds around a Well

Circa 1880. 13.6ins high, 11ins wide, 8.3ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica flower holder which features seven colourful garden birds, perched around a well. Colouration: cream, brown, green, are predominant.

The piece bears an original label for the Delphin Massier pottery.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Missing string for bucket attachment to pulley.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to a few beaks.

Retouched flakes to a few tails.
