
Victorian, circa 1870. 4.7ins high, 10.2ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Minton Majolica candlestick holder which features a robin perched on a twig, with leaves and floral decoration.
Colouration: green, white, dark pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1567'. English diamond registration mark for the date 02/03/1870. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.
CONDITION: Good. Two tiny flakes to petals of pink flower.
RESTORATION. Remodelled beak.
Filled chip to tip of robin's right wing and rim of dish.
Retouched flakes to rim of candle holder.
