which features oak leaves and acorns and a snail molded on the handle.
Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Bears a pattern number, '553'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: firing hole to the snail.
