Wedgwood Majolica Leaf Dish

Victorian, circa 1862. 8.9ins high, 8.7ins wide, 1.4ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica dish which features a large leaf. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1862.

Condition

Good. Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECT: notable crazing.

RESTORATION: Three filled chips to under the rim.
