JRL Majolica Monkey, Teapot, Sugar and Creamer

Victorian, circa 1880. 7.5ins high, 9.8ins wide, 4.7ins depth. J.R.L. Majolica teapot, sugar pot and creamer which features coconuts and monkeys. Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the J.R.L. pottery.

Condition

Teapot: Very good. No restoration. Small flake to outer rim of teapot.

Sugar: Generally good. Some small flakes to inner rim.

RESTORATION: Top half of monkey reglued and joins retouched.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.

Creamer: Very good. No restoration.
