George Jones Majolica Strawberry Serving Spoon

Victorian, circa 1870. 1.4ins high, 4.5ins wide, 2ins depth. George Jones Majolica spoon which features overlapping strawberry leaves tied with ribbon.

Colouration: green, turquoise, brown, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the handle.

RESTORATION. Handle reglued and join retouched.

Filled chip to rim.

Retouched stilt marks to underside of spoon.
