Minton Majolica Turquoise 6 Well Oyster Plate

Victorian, circa 1878. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1ins depth. Minton Majolica plate which features six shell shaped wells with seashell surrounds.

Turquoise ground version.

Colouration: turquoise, green, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '1323'. English diamond registration mark for the date 16/11/1867.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1878.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

Light scratches from use.
