Rorstrand Majolica Christmas Charger

Victorian, circa 1890. 15.7ins high, 15.7ins wide, 2ins depth. Rorstrand Majolica charger which features a Christmas rose surrounded by mistletoe.

The rim pierced with panels of holly. Putti performing festive activities: one cooking a goose, another warming his hands before a fire.

Colouration: brown, green, cobalt blue, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Rorstrand pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Some wear to the rim.

Light scratches from use.
