Minton Majolica Rabbit on Leaf Dish

Victorian, circa 1869. 3.1ins high, 8.9ins wide, 6.1ins depth. Minton Majolica dish which features a rabbit eating a cabbage leaf.

Colouration: green, white, black, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '1531'.

English diamond registration mark for the date 29/10/1869.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to the interior;

flecks of stray coloured glaze to the rabbit.

RESTORATION. Small section of rim reglued and join retouched.
