Majolica Bird Posy Vase, Titled, 'Wren'

Victorian, circa 1880. 3ins high, 2.6ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Majolica posy holder which features a wren perched on a branch.

'WREN' is impressed to the front of the base.

Colouration: green, cobalt blue, brown, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Chip to tip of wrens tail.

Tiny flakes to rim.

KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the interior of the spill, not present to exterior.

RESTORATION. Retouched flake to rim at reverse of vase.
