
Circa 1910. 14.5ins high by 11ins wide. WMF 'Echo' toilet easel mirror, officially titled ‘The First Cuckoo’.
Frame has a maiden on the right hand side, dressed in a flowing robe, leaning in front of the mirror, with her left hand to her ear.
Her face reflects in the mirror. Flowers decorate the top right and bottom left corners.
A hinged arm is attached to the wooden backing to act as a support.
Maker's marks impressed to the back of one foot - WMF (bee hive with top quarter blank), B (Britannia metal,
a tin/antinomy alloy), I/O (normal thickness of plating/gilding) and OX (Oxidised).
CONDITION: Good.
Replaced backing board and mirror.
Two missing screws to the reverse.
