
George I, dated 1718. 18.75ins by 7.75ins wide. 1718 Sampler by Sarah Foot. Framed in an old wood frame with rippled, old glass.
Fixed to card with chipboard backing.
The sampler is worked in silk on linen ground, in a variety of stitches including Algerian eye.
No border, divider lines in various patterns. Colours greens, light brown, gold, white, cream and blues. Alphabets A-Z in upper case and lower case and numbers 1-13.
