Wedgwood Fairyland lustre imperial bowl decorated in the, 'Woodland Elves VII Toadstool' design, on a black ground to the exterior.
'Fairy in a cage' design, on a mother of pearl ground, to the interior.
Cobble bead border to the foot rim. Printed 'Portland Vase’ back stamp to the underside with painted pattern number Z4968.
Good. No restoration. Some wear to gilding to the central circular panel to the interior.
Wear to the gilding on two of the corners to the exterior.
KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to the exterior rim;
tiny spot of missing gilding to one corner.
The bowl has a wonderful, resonant ring when tapped.
