Staffordshire Pottery egg tureen and cover which features a hen, resting on a basketweave oval base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Hen: Good. No restoration. Small chip to tail feathers.

Small flake to tail feathers.

A few paint losses to feathers.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines to the underside-interior only. Not present to exterior.

Nest: Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to ground.

Wear to the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: touch marks and firing pits to the interior.
