with a religious theme which features Elijah feeding two ravens, seated on a square base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
This piece represents the Biblical story of Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath.
CONDITION: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to his robe.
RESTORATION. Old and stable reglued section of branch.
Minor retouched paint loss to base,
ground
and crows.
