
Victorian, circa 1840. 6.5ins high, 8.5ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a Setter, stood on an oblong base.
Russet and white version. Dull gilt base line.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: a few flecks of stray coloured glaze to the dog;
a small speck of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the dog's face.
RESTORATION. Tail reglued and join retouched.
Tip of tail remodelled - hair thickness white craze lines evident.
Filled shallow chip to underside of dogs waist.
