Small Staffordshire Pottery Swan Floating Ornament

Victorian, circa 1860. 4.1ins high, 4.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery floating ornament which features a swan - made for floating in a water feature or bath.

The piece, resting directly on the ground, no base. Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the tail feathers.
