
pre-Victorian, circa 1790. 7.1ins high, 6.1ins wide, 0.4ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery Prattware plaque which features the head and shoulders of a gentleman, relief molded. This piece represents Josiah Wedgwood - the English potter who founded the Wedgwood company.

RESTORATION: Filled chip to the bottom projecting scrollwork section.
And another filled chip to another part of projecting scrollwork.
Stabilised and retouched crack to the left hand side (approx. 1 inch).
