Staffordshire Prattware Tittensor-Style Squirrel Group

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.3ins high, 3.5ins wide, 2.5ins depth. Tittensor-style Staffordshire Pottery Prattware bocage group with a pastoral theme which features a boy feeding a squirrel, stood on a shaped base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Chips to bocage leaves.

Minor flakes to base edge.

RESTORATION. Remodelled right arm and right hand.
