Staffordshire Pearlware Cow Creamer with Lustre Patches

pre-Victorian, circa 1830. 5.7ins high, 7.1ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware cow creamer which features a cow, stood on a rectangular base.

Pink lustre version.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Hole with cover to cow's back.

Mouth forms a pouring hole.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Tiny flakes to the lower base edge.

KILN EFFECT: kiln soot caught in the glaze.

RESTORATION: Both horns with filled chips.

Tail remodelled.
