
Victorian, circa 1850. Tallest is 4.3ins high, 4.2ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Russet and white version. Dull gilt collar and locket.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good. Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the spaniel's left front leg where it joins his body.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to spaniel's right hind paw.
Retouched black and russet enamels.
Left facing: Good. Very slight rubbing to gilt.
