Staffordshire Bulldog Head Stirrup Cup

Victorian, circa 1860. 3.9ins high, 4.1ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery stirrup cup which features a bulldog head, resting directly on the ground, no base.

Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

A few paint losses to the collar.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack.

Retouched paint losses to collar and pupils.
