
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.3ins high, 3.9ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery dog which features a spaniel with a flower basket in its mouth, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front. Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: some crazing;
a speck of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the dog's nose.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to front right paw.
Retouched flake to left eye.
