Ralph Wood Staffordshire Pearlware Pottery 'Water' figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 7.9ins high, 3.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Ralph Wood Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure which features a woman next to a water fountain, stood on a square base.

The piece is titled, 'Water' .

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. Small flake to nose.

RESTORATION. Neck reglued and join retouched.

Filled chips to finger, thumb, base and edge of dress.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to base at reverse.
