
Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 5.3ins high, 4.3ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Pair of Parr Factory Staffordshire Pottery spill vases with a pastoral theme which feature a ram and a ewe, stood on a circular base.
Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Maker's marks to the underside.
CONDITION: Ram: Generally good. Tight hairline to left hind ankle.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
Some wear to right horn.
RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to ground.
Ewe: Generally good. Crack to the reverse.
Chip to spill rim at reverse.
Some small flakes to ewe's face.
A few paint losses to ground.
RESTORATION. Remodelled left ear.
