Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a pug, seated directly on the ground, no base.

Bright gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

Left facing: Good. No restoration. Paint losses to right eye.

Some rubbing to gilt.

Slight scratches to the reverse.

Right facing: Good. No restoration. Paint losses to muzzle and right eye.

Slight scratches to the reverse.

Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: fleck of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
