pre-Victorian, circa 1830. 5.7ins high, 5.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth.

Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure which features a pointer, stood on an oval base. The piece is titled, ''POINTER'' .

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

Generally good. Some paint losses to the black markings.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along the mold join to the dog;

touch mark to the reverse.

RESTORATION: Filled small chips to bocage.

Filled chip to base edge at reverse.
