Small Staffordshire Prattware Lion figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1800. 2.8ins high, 3.7ins wide, 2.2ins depth.

Staffordshire Pottery Prattware figure which features a lion, recumbent on an oval base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Open bottomed.

Condition

Very good. No restoration. Small flake to top of lion's head and rear.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the lion's nose.
