Walton Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure which features a crowned lion with a ball under it's foot, recumbent on an oval base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Maker's marks Walton molded ribbon.

Generally good. Missing bocage branch behind lion's head.
Some tiny flakes to his mane, crown, ball, paws, rock and bocage.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the ground;
fleck of stray coloured green glaze to his mane.
RESTORATION: Retouched 'stump' where missing branch would be.
Retouched chipped leaves.
Retouched flakes to ground and lion's leg.
Remodelled tail.
