
Victorian, circa 1890. 8.1ins high, 8.1ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features a lizard, toads and beetles. Colouration: green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.
Good. Some small flakes to the shredded clay,
under rim
and two toads backs.
RESTORATION: Retouched chip to foot rim.
