Pair Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica candlestick holders which feature a mouse climbing a tree.
Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to mouse's right ear.
