Large Majolica Fish Dish

Victorian, circa 1870. 9.1ins high, 17.7ins wide, 1.8ins depth. Majolica platter which features a large fish.

Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.

Small chips to end of tail fin.

Some small flakes to rim.

Light scratches from use.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the tail fin;

firing crack to the tail.
