Victorian, circa 1870. 8.2ins high, 8.2ins wide, 0.8ins depth. George Jones Majolica plate which features strawberry leaves and blossoms.

Turquoise ground version.

Colouration: turquoise, green, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3363'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

Slight wear to interior.

KILN EFFECTS: fleck of stray coloured glaze to interior;

uneven glaze application to the rim;

cloudiness to the turquoise glaze.
