Victorian, circa 1890. 4.3ins high, 2.6ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Thomas Sergent Palissy Majolica pot which features a squid

supporting a fluted rimmed posy holder.

Colouration: brown, blue, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Small shallow chip to rim

and under rim.

Some small flakes to the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: some blue glaze run and specks of stray glaze;

shrinkage line to the rim.
