Victorian, circa 1869. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1ins depth.

George Jones Majolica plate which features a pond lily flower surrounded by overlapping leaves.

Colouration: green, turquoise, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2249'. English diamond registration mark for the date 09/03/1869.

Condition

Generally good. Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to interior.

RESTORATION. Retouched flake and a filled chip to rim.
