Majolica Leaves in Basket Platter

Victorian, circa 1880. 8.7ins high, 10.6ins wide, 1.1ins depth.

Majolica platter which features a sprig of leaves on a basket weave ground.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, ochre, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '12'.

Condition

Very good. No restoration. Tiny flake to rim.

Flake to under rim.

Slight wear to the high points of the molding.

Some wear to underside.

KILN EFFECTS: a couple of touch marks to the rim.
