Victorian, circa 1870. 2.4ins high, 9.2ins wide, 9.2ins depth. George Jones Majolica compote which features a horse chestnut leaf on a white napkin.

White ground version.

Colouration: green, white, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '1804'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Some wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECT: glaze miss to the napkin.
