George Jones Majolica cheese keep which features an overlapping leaf border and cow finial.
Pink ground version. Colouration: green, ochre, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

Dome: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application in places to the ground.
RESTORATION. Both cow's horns remodelled.
Two stabilised and retouched cracks to body of dome.
Retouched flakes to base edge.
Stand: Generally good. No restoration. Three tight 1 inch hairlines to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the interior.
