Belfield and Co. Scottish Majolica Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 5.9ins high, 6.9ins wide, 5.9ins depth.

Belfield Majolica jug/pitcher which features grapes and vine leaves entwined around a barrel.

Colouration: brown, green, purple, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Belfield pottery.

Condition

Very good. No restoration. Some small flakes to rim.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the bottom edge;

glaze run to the brown, orange and green glazes.
