Lear Majolica Flower and Fern Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1880. 8ins high, 5.5ins wide, 5.3ins depth.

Lear Majolica jug/pitcher which features lily of the valley and fern leaves.

Colouration: green, ochre, cream, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '30'.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Some small flakes to handle and rim.

Very slight wear to rim.

KILN EFFECTS: two over glazed chips to rim;

small firing pit to top of handle;

some glaze run;

some uneven glaze application.
